Reformed Baptist Church of Coleman, Texas

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

1 Peter 1:3

Reformed Baptist Church of Coleman is a church plant located in Coleman Texas.

It is our humble desire to see the Gospel of Jesus Christ preached in Coleman and surrounding counties and to establish, by God’s grace, a fellowship of believers who truly desire to “walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace” (Eph 4:1-3).

We are a Christian fellowship which unashamedly proclaims salvation by grace through faith, in the tradition of historic Christianity: where Scripture remains the sole authority for all faith and practice; where earnest contending for the faith is exercised without being contentious; and where Christ’s glory is sought in all we say and do! We warmly invite you to come and worship with us.

Quotes of the Week

God hath in Himself all power to defend you, all wisdom to direct you, all mercy to pardon you, all grace to enrich you, all righteousness to clothe you, all goodness to supply you, and all happiness to crown you.

Thomas Brooks

I want to strike a blow at the lazy, easy, sleepy Christianity of these latter days, which can see no beauty in zeal, and only uses the word “zealot” as a word of reproach… Zeal in religion is a burning desire to please God, to do His will, and to advance His glory in the world in every possible way. It is a desire which no man feels by nature – which the Spirit puts in the heart of every believer when he is converted, but which some believers feel so much more strongly than others that they alone deserve to be called “zealous” men. This desire is so strong, when it really reigns in a man, that it impels him to make any sacrifice, to go through any trouble, to deny himself to any amount, to suffer, to work, to labor, to toil, to spend himself and be spent, and even to die, if only he can please God and honor Christ.
